Whether you’re a brand-new gun owner or looking to become one and want real training in understanding pistols, Foundations: Basic Pistol Fundamentals is your option. This is a beginner 101 level class and you’ll leave this class with more than just range time - you’ll walk away with confidence, clarity, and a real foundation for safe, responsible firearm use.

We’ll dig into the mechanics: how pistols work, storage options, basic marksmanship, dry-fire drills (practicing without live ammo), live-fire drills (Practicing with Ammo), holster types and other fundamentals of being a responsible gun owner. You will fire at least 2 or more Pistol types and ammunition types (Based on cost and availability), We’ll correct common gun movie myths, sharpen your knowledge, and get you firing with intention and skill.

While FIRST SHOTS is the baseline recommendation for absolute beginners, FOUNDATIONS: BASIC PISTOL builds on that knowledge and expands your understanding of responsible gun ownership, in a beginner friendly way.

    • New gun owners who want to develop safe habits

    • People considering concealed carry but who want real training with firearms before taking the leap.

    • Shooters returning after a long break, who want to reconnect with the skillset.

    • MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO TAKE THIS CLASS. NOTE: 18 TO 20 YEAR OLDS CANNOT LEGALLY PURCHASE FIREARMS IN FL OR CARRY THEM IN PUBLIC, BUT MAY OWN AND POSSESS* THEM FOR HOME PROTECTION, OR RECREATION.

    *If acquired legally, such as a bona-fide gift from a parent or family member. Note: Anyone who purchases a firearm for another person, other than as a bona-fide gift, commits a felony under federal law. Google “Straw Purchase” for more information.
